About The Event

Downtown Jewish Life (DJL) launch "Downtown Celebrates" Israel’s 70th Yom Ha’atzmaut, featuring the renowned musician Yael Deckelbaum and Prayer of the Mothers Ensemble, accompanied by multi-cultural performers.

The downtown community will come together as one along with local rabbis, artists, peacemakers, activists, poets, and musicians – to cast a circle of ritual & prayer for peace, marking the transition from remembrance to celebration on Israel's’ 70th Day of Independence; followed by a funk and flare concert.
